Palmeiras golom u 99. minuti savladao Santos i osvojio Kopa Libertadores

Fudbaleri Palmeirasa pobijedili su Santos u dramatičnoj završnici meča finala Kopa Libertadoresa sa 1:0.
Meč je riješen u devetoj minuti nadoknade kada je Breno pogodio mrežu Santosa.
Palmeirasu je ovo druga titula u historiji kluba, a Breno će po mnogo čemu pamtiti ovaj meč jer je kao rezervista donio trofej svom timu u meču koji nije obilovao prilikama.
Možda najbolju u drugom poluvremenu na Marakani u Rio de Žaneiru imao je Santos u 77. minuti kada je Pituka na ivici šesnaesterca primio dodavanje i šutirao, ali je golman Palmeirasa odbranio.
Obje ekipe su se mučile da stvore prilike u meču koji je djelovao kao da neizbježno ide u produžetke.
Prava drama počela je tek u nadoknadi vremena, a baš tada su stvari po Santos krenule naopako i prije pogotka Brena.
Santosu je isključen trener Cuca, zbog svađe sa igračem Palmeirasa i ubrzo je uslijedio i pad koncentracije i pogodak Brena koji je ušao u 85. minuti umjesto Gabrijela Menina.
