U požarima koji od septembra bijesne u Australiji dosad je poginulo najmanje 25 osoba, uginulo više miliona životinja, a uništeno oko 2.000 kuća, prenosi Anadolu Agency (AA).
Nakon izuzetno teških uslova za gašenje požara, vatrogasci početkom ove sedmice koriste blaže vremenske prilike kako bi stekli kontrolu nad požarima koji ne jenjavaju na jugoistoku Australije.
Prema prognozama meteorologa, temperature bi u petak ponovo mogle porasti, zbog čega vlasti strahuju od pogoršanja situacije na terenu.
Najviše objekata uništeno je u državi Novi Južni Vels, oko 1.600. U susjednoj Viktoriji uništeno je oko 200 kuća, a u drugim državama više od 100, prenosi BBC.
