Putin primio UFC šampiona Habiba

MOSKVA (AA) – Predsjednik Rusije Vladimir Putin danas je primio UFC šampiona Habiba Nurmagomedova i tom prilikom mu čestitao na odbrani šampionskog pojasa lake kategorije u meču protiv Irca Conora McGregora, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA).
U saopćenju Kremlja se navodi da je ruski predsjednik Nurmagomedovu kazao da prati njegov rad, dodajući da sport doprinosi jačanju prijateljstva.
Istakao je da je Rusija jedna velika porodica, napominjući kako u svakom slučaju treba izbjegavati bilo kakve ekscese.
“Ipak, ukoliko bi se dogodila neka intervencija s vana, u tom slučaju ne samo ti, naravno da bi se i mi usprotivili. Ali, najbolje je da se ne dođe u takvu situaciju”, kazao je Putin.
Nurmagomedov je naglasio kako želi da ga vrjednuju na osnovu prikazane borbe, a ne zbog preskakanja ograde.
“Iako sam, za razliku od McGregora, koji mi je vrijeđao zemlju i porodicu, pokazao lijepo ponašanje, sada samo pričaju o mom preskakanju ograde. Ali ja sam postupio časno”, rekao je UFC šampion.
Priznao je ipak da je u nekim momentima izgubio kontrolu, napominjući da se tokom borbe uvijek mogu dogoditi određene provokacije.
Nurmagomedov je prošlog vikenda porazio McGregora nakon što mu je Irac predao borbu u četvrtoj rundi, a nakon borbe nastao je pravi haos kada je Rus preskočio ogradu i nasrnuo na članove McGregorovog tima koji su ga, navodno, vrijeđali.
