Raskol u Pravoslavnoj crkvi: Moskva prekinula odnose sa Carigradskom patrijaršijom
Na taj način najavio je prekid odnosa među dvjema crkvama.
“Odluka o potpunom prekidu odnosa s patrijaršijom iz Konstantinopolja donesena je na sastanku sinoda koji je održan u Minsku”, rekao je Hilarion, prenosi TASS.
Ova odluka donesena je nekoliko dana nakon što je konstantinopoljski sinod odlučio odobriti autokefalnost Ukrajinskoj pravoslavnoj crkvi, čime je klerikalna organizacija, koja je ranije imala široku autonomiju unutar patrijarhata Moskve, postala potpuno neovisna. Potez Moskve označio je najveći razlaz u historiji Pravoslavne crkve od velike šizme 1054. godine koja je podijelila katoličke i pravoslavne kršćane, jer je riječ o prekidu zajedništva između najveće postojeće pravoslavne crkve – Moskovske i Carigradske patrijaršije koja se smatra duhovnim liderom pravoslavnih kršćana.
Moskovska patrijaršija rekla je da neće poštovati odluke Konstantinopolja kada je riječ o statusu Ukrajinske pravoslavne crkve.
“Sve ove odluke su nezakonite i neobavezujuće. Ruska pravoslavna crkva ih neće ni prihvatiti ni sprovoditi”, rekao je Hilarion.
Istovremeno, Ruska pravoslavna crkva se nada da će “prevladati zdrav razum” i da će Konstantinopolj promijeniti svoju odluku. Međutim, i dalje optužuju Vaseljenskog patrijarha da je inicirao raskol.
