S.A.D: Mijanmar Rohinjama od života pravi smrtnu kaznu
Novinske agencije i humanitarne organizacije otkrile su nove masovne grobnice u kojima su pokopane Rohinje.
Američka veleposlanica pri Ujedinjenim narodima Nikki Haley optužila je Vladu Mijanmara da Rohinjama “nastavlja od života praviti smrtnu kaznu”.
Govoreći o položanju Rohinja na sjednici Vijeća sigurnosti UN-a, ona se pozvala na izvještaj novinske agencije AP, ali i humanitarnih organizacija o masovnim grobnicama u kojima su pokopane Rohinje.
“Vlada Mijanmara negira masakr i masovne grobnice i tvrdi da se bori protiv terorista”, rekla je Haley, ali i ukazala na medijske izvještaje o još jednom masakru i masovnoj grobnici u selu In Din, prenosi AP.
Tokom sjednice Vijeća sigurnosti predstavnici mnogih zemalja, među kojima su bili Velika Britanija, Nizozemska, Francuska, Kazahstan i Švedska, podigli u zrak papire s otiskanim izvještajima o masovnim grobnicama u Mijanmaru.
Vlasti nisu pronašle nijednu masovnu grobnicu
No, veleposlanik Mijanmara Hau Do Suan kaže da je medijske izvještaje o masovnim grobnicama istraživao tim koji ima 17 istražitelja, ali da nisu pronašli nijednu masovnu grobnicu, kao i da su stanovnici sela potvrdili da nije bilo takvih incidenata.
Suan je rekao da je vojnom istragom otkriveno da je deset članova jedne terorističke grupe, koja je izvela napade na sigurnosne snage Mijanmara u kolovozu prošle godine, a koji se spominju u izvještaju, uhapšeno početkom rujna te da su oni pogubljeni i pokopani.
Prema njegovim riječima, 16 osoba, među kojima su i pripadnici vojske i policije te seljani, suočeni su s optužbama da su “prekršili standardne operativne poslove”.
