Sarrazin: Njemačka za članstvo regije u Europskoj uniji

Specijalni izaslanik njemačke vlade za zapadni Balkan Manuel Sarrazin izjavio je u utorak u Beogradu da se Berlin zalaže za članstvo zemalja regije u Europskoj uniji.

Na konferenciji “Revitalizacija EU vrijednosti”, u organizaciji Europskog pokreta u Srbiji, Sarrazin je ustvrdio kako je Njemačka za ulazak zemalja zapadnog Balkana u EU, a ne za “neku vrstu njihovog partnerstva s Unijom”, prenosi agencija Beta.

“EU postavlja jasan okvir u kojem dolazi do ujedinjenja, čak i ako polazimo s različitih pozicija. To je savršen trenutak za zapadni Balkan da se pridruži ovom klubu. Jasno je da EU ne može uspjeti bez uspješnog proširenja u ovoj regiji. Nitko neće vjerovati u ulogu Unije u budućnosti, u borbi između demokracije i autoritarnih režima, ako nismo sposobni ostvariti uspjeh u proširenju na zapadni Balkan”, kazao je Sarrazin.

Francuski predsjednik Emmanuel Macron jučer je predložio formiranje “europske političke zajednice”, u kojoj bi bile države izvan EU koje dijele ključne europske vrijednosti, uključujući one koje teže članstvu i one koje su izašle iz Unije.

Sarrazin je naveo da procesu proširenja EU treba dati na snazi otvaranjem pregovora sa Sjevernom Makedonijom i Albanijom i odobravanjem vizne liberalizacije za Kosovo.

Napomenuo je kako je predsjedniku Srbije Aleksandru Vučiću na jutrošnjem sastanku prenio tu istu poruku kao i najviši njemački dužnosnici prošlog tjedna, da Berlin od Beograda očekuje da se pridruži sankcijama EU Rusiji.

To usuglašavanje s odlukama Unije ne mora biti trenutačno nego postepeno, rekao je Sarrazin.
