Saudijska Arabija dozvolila umru za vjernike iz inostranstva

Saudijska Arabija je dozvolila vjernicima iz inostranstva da dođu obaviti umru, nakon sedam mjeseci prekida zbog pandemije koronavirusa.
Ovaj potez je dio odluka Saudijske Arabije da ublaži restrikcije uvedene na sprečavanju širenja virusa. U okviru novih mjera, 20.000 vjernika dnevno će moći obaviti ritual u Velikoj džamiji, gdje se Ka’ba nalazi, javio je državni medij Al-Ekhbariya.
Saudijske vlasti su 4. oktobra dozvolile Saudijcima i strancima u Kraljevini da obave molitve u Velikoj džamiji na 30 posto kapaciteta, ili oko 6.000 ljudi dnevno.
Kraljevina 18. oktobra dozvolila je 15.000 vjernika dnevno da obave umru i molitve u Al-Masjid al-Nabawi, ili Poslanikovoj džamiji, u Medini. Tokom pandemije hadž ove godine je bio ograničen na ljude koji žive u Saudijskoj Arabiji.
Saudijska Arabija je do sad potvrdila 347.282 slučaja zaraze koronavirusom, uključujući 5.402 smrtna slučaja otkako je prvi slučaj zaraze u kraljevini potvrđen u martu.
