Saudijska Arabija planira investirati 50 milijardi dolara u povećanje naftnih kapaciteta

Saudijska nafta kompanija Aramco je objavila da će u ovoj godini povećati investicije za 50 posto. Objava dolazi nakon što je Zapad izvršio pritisak da povećaju proizvodnju zbog rasta cijena.

U toku prošle godine cijena nafta je skočila za 50%, a zatim je nakon ruske invazije Ukrajine postigla najveću cijenu u posljednjih 14 godina.

Aramco je objavio da će svoje kapitalne troškove povećati na 40-50 milijardi dolara u toku ove godine te da se daljnji rast očekuje do polovine ovog desetljeća.

Na pitanje može li Aramco proizvesti više nafte da popuni praznine na tržištu nastale zbog rata u Ukrajini, izvršni direktor Amin Naseer je rekao da će Aramco proizvoditi u skladu sa uputama iz saudijskog Ministarstva energije.

Iz kompanije su javili da žele da maksimalni održivi kapacitet proizvodnje sirove nafte do 2027. godine dignu na 13 miliona barela dnevno i da želje proizvodnju plina povećati za više od 50 posto do 2030. godine.

Aramco je u 2021. godini ostvario neto profit od 110 milijardi dolara, što je veliki porast u odnosu na 2020. godinu kada je profit iznosio 49 milijardi dolara, javlja CNN.
