Ono što su mnogi izvan mainstream medija mjesecima tvrdili, sada je potvrdio ugledni američki tjednik Time, svojevrsni “opinion maker” među američkom elitom. Bivši američki predsjednik Donald Trump i njegov tim ukazivali su na brojne izborne nepravilnosti zbog kojih je izgubio izbore, a tvrdio je da su one bile planirane te da je žrtva izborne krađe.
“Trump je na neki način bio u pravu.
Iza kulisa se odvijala zavjera koja je obuzdala prosvjede i koordinirala otpor izvršnih direktora. Oba iznenađenja rezultat su neformalnog saveza ljevičarskih aktivista i poslovnih titana. Pakt je formaliziran u kratkoj, malo zapaženoj zajedničkoj izjavi Američke gospodarske komore i AFL-CIO-a objavljenoj na dan izbora. Obje su strane to doživjele kao svojevrsnu implicitnu pogodbu – nadahnutu masovnim ljetnim, ponekad destruktivnim prosvjedima za rasnu pravdu.”

“Njihov rad dotaknuo je svaki aspekt izbora. Osigurali su da savezne države promijene izborne sustave i zakone o glasovanju te pomogli osigurati stotine milijuna kroz javno i privatno financiranje. Branili su se od tužbi za suzbijanje volje birača, regrutirali vojske izbornih promatrača i natjerali milijune ljudi da prvi put glasaju poštom. Uspješno su pritiskali tvrtke na društvenim mrežama da zauzmu oštriji stav protiv dezinformacija.
Nakon izbornog dana nadzirali su svaku aspekt pritiska kako bi osigurali da Trump ne može promijeniti rezultate.” “Neispričana priča o izborima je ona o tisućama ljudi obje stranke (op.a republikanske i demokratske) koji su ostvarili trijumf američke demokracije”, kazao Norm Eisen, odvjetnik i bivši dužnosnik Obamine administracije koji je regrutirao republikance i demokrate u odbor za Program zaštite birača.
“Zbog toga sudionici žele da se ispriča tajna povijest izbora 2020., iako zvuči kao paranoični, grozničavi san – dobro financirana kabala moćnih ljudi, iz različitih industrija i ideologija, zajedno je radila iza kulisa kako bi utjecala na percepciju, promijenila pravila i zakone, usmjerila medijsku pozornost i kontrolirala protok informacija. Oni nisu namještali izbore; ojačali su ih. I oni vjeruju da javnost mora shvatiti krhkost sustava kako bi osigurala da demokracija u Americi opstane”.”
