Simulacija prirodnih katastrofa u Bosanskom Šamcu: Koliko smo spremni
U okviru USAID-ovog projekta “Jačanje otpornosti na prirodne katastrofe i unaprijeđenje strategije pripravnosti u BiH i Srbiji” jučer je u Bosanskom Šamcu izvedena pokazna vježba u kojoj je kroz simulacije poplave prikazano djelovanje i reagovanje u u slučaju prirodne katastrofe.
Vježba je izvedena kako bi se testirala spremnost ljudi da odgovore na krizne situacije u realnim uslovima.
Projekat sprovodi Catholic Relief Services (CRS) sa partnerima, a vježba koja je izvedena imala je za cilj da testira spremnost ljudi da odgovori na krizne situacije u realnim uslovima.
Također, vježbom se trebalo utvrditi stanje materijalno-tehničkih sredstava službi spašavanja, te educirati šira javnost i jačanje otposnoti na katastrofe koje periodično pogađaju ovo područje.
“Cilj vježbe je da pokaže i provjeri efikasnost međusobne koordinacije svih službi u vanrednim situacijama, pogotovo imajući u vidu sve ono kroz šta je opština Bosanski Šamac prošla tokom 2014. godine i sve ono na šta možemo u narednom periodu naići“, kazao je načelnik Bosanskog Šamca Đorđe Milićević.
Šamačke službe spašavanja su se tako – nakratko i u kontrolisanim uslovima – vratile u situaciju iz 2014. godine, te branile od porasta vodostaja rijeka Bosne i Save simulirajući spašavanje ljudi blokiranih ispod mosta, spašavanje na vodi i pod vodom, izvlačenje ljudi iz automobila na koje je palo stablo, te evakuaciju, zbrinjavanje i pružanje prve pomoći.
“Iako se nadamo da nikome u praksi neće zatrebati ništa od onoga što smo danas vježbali, dobro je znati da Bosanski Šamac ima službe koje mogu brzo i efikasno djelovati i zajednički pružiti adekvatan odgovor na katastrofu“, kazao je Zoran Bašić iz CRS-a, menadžer projekta PREPS.
U vježbi su učestvovale jedinice Republičke uprave civilne zaštite, jedinice sa područja Opštine Bosanski Šamac – Štab za vanredne situacije, Operativno-komunikacioni centar, Specijalizovana jedinica za zaštitu od poplava, kao i predstavnici vatrogasnih službi, Crvenog krsta, policijske stanice i doma zdravlja.
“Danas smo ovdje zajednički svi, da pokažemo širinu i snagu sistema zaštite i spašavanja. U sistemu zaštite i spašavanja je bitno da svako ima svoje mjesto i svoju ulogu i odgovornost za sve što nam se događa u situacijama prirodne nesreće ili katastrofe“, kazao je Milan Novitović, vršilac dužnosti direktora Republičke uprave civilne zaštite.
CRS u partnerstvu sa Caritasom Srbije i “Čovjekoljubljem” provodi projekat PREPS u 14 opština na području BiH i Srbije sa ciljem jačanja pripravnosti i kapaciteta za smanjenje ranjivosti od prirodnih katastrofa. Kroz male projekte, saradnju mjesnih zajednica, te simulacijske vježbe nastoji se ojačati sistem zaštite i smanjenja rizika od prirodnih katastrofa.
