Španci u finalu rukometnog EP-a
Rukometna reprezentacija Španije izborila je plasman u finale Evropskog prvenstva. Španci su u drugom polufinalnom meču u Stockholmu pobijedili selekciju Slovenije sa 34:32 (20:15).
Prvih 16 minuta igralo se izjednačeno, a potom su Španci serijom od tri gola uspjeli doći do osjetne prednosti, a do kraja poluvremena do vodstva od pet golova.
Rezultatsku prednost Španci su držali do finiša meča, a u posljednjih pet minuta Slovenci ipak uspijevaju da naprave seriju pogodaka i dođu na samo gol zaostatka.
Međutim, Španci u posljednjem napadu postižu pogodak za konačnih 34:32 i plasman u nedjeljno finale u kojem će igrati protiv selekcije Hrvatske, koja je u prvom polufinalnom meču nakon dva produžetka pobijedila Norvešku sa 29:28.
U selekciji Španije po šest golova postigli su Angel Fernandez, Entrerrios i Dujshebaev, dok su u reprezentaciji Slovenije najefikasniji bili Dolenec sa sedam, Janc sa šest i Blagotinsek sa pet pogodaka.
Pretposljednjeg dana EP-a u subotu će biti odigrani mečevi za peto mjesto između Njemačke i Portugala (16.00) te za treće mjesto između Norveške i Slovenije (18.30). Finale Španija – Hrvatska igra se u nedjelju od 16.30 sati.
