TIKA nastavlja pomagati: Podrška za 500 porodica iz BiH
Turska agencija za saradnju i koordinaciju TIKA je do sada realizovala brojne projekte u oblasti poljoprivrede u zemljama Balkana, a usljed pandemije izazvane koronavirusom zemljama regije pomaže kako bi se lakše izborile sa mogućim posljedicama u slučaju nestašice hrane izazvane pandemijom.
TIKA je odlučila da intenzivira pomoć i podršku u okviru ranije pokrenutog Programa podrške sigurnosti hrane i života za zemlje Balkana i Istočne Evrope, čiji je cilj pružiti podršku i pomoć građanima zemalja ovog regiona koji žive od poljoprivrede i stočarstva u slučaju moguće nestašice hrane.
TIKA je ovaj put odlučila da dodatno pomogne zemljama Balkana kako bi ublažila posljedice koje je pandemija ostavila na građane po pitanju dovoljnog opskrbljivanja hranom.
Podjela sadnog materijala
Zahvaljujući naporima TIKA-e, u BiH, u kojoj je na hiljade građana ostalo bez posla usljed pandemije izazvane koronavirusom, 500 porodica je već uključeno u projekat direktne poljoprivredne proizvodnje.
TIKA je u okviru projekta podrške podjele sadnog sjemena osigurala pomoć za deset općina, Goražde, Pale-Prača, Rogatica (Žepa), Breza, Vareš, Maglaj, Gornji Vakuf, Sapna, Teočak i Čelić.
Cilj projekta je da se podrži proizvodnja krompira, luka, graha, mrkve i peršuna na površini od 500 dunuma tako što bi 500 porodica dobilo ukupno 13 tona sjemena i 13 tona đubriva.
Također, poduzete su aktivnosti kako bi projekti podrške poljoprivredi pokrenuti u okviru borbe protiv COVID-19 bili prošireni i na druge regije.
Kontinuitet bavljenja ratarstvom i stočarstvom
U TIKA-i smatraju da je vrlo važno podržati porodična poljoprivredna gazdinstva putem općina kako bi se osigurala održiva proizvodnja hrane. Izrazili su nadu da će i ovaj projekat pomoći mnogim porodicama u BiH da se lakše suoče sa krizom izazvanom pandemijom.
Poručili su da će svakako nastaviti sa novim projektima kako bi pružili podršku stanovnicima BiH i tokom trajanja pandemije koronavirusa.
TIKA je 2017. godine pokrenula Program podrške sigurnosti života i hrane na Balkanu i zemljama Istočne Evrope, koji realizira u saradnji s Poljoprivredno-prehrambenim fakultetom Univerziteta u Sarajevu.
TIKA je u Bosni i Hercegovini počela djelovati 1995. godine, a od tada je realizirala značajne projekte na polju zaštite historijskog i kulturnog nasljeđa, obrazovanja, zdravstva, infrastrukture, poljoprivrede i stočarstva.
