Tuka prvi u trci na 400 metara, nastavlja dizati formu za SP u Dohi
Najbolji bh. atletičar Amel Tuka slavio je danas u trci na 400 metara na pojedinačnom prvenstvu Bosne i Hercegovine u atletici za seniore, vremenom 47,11, javlja Anadolu Agency (AA)
“Po planu je, pošto se vraćam na taj bazni period, poslije dobrih trka koje sam imao, trener je uklopio da idem danas 400 metara, da je uklopim kao trening, tako da je glavni cilj Svjetsko prvenstvo, da se vratim u formu, da istrčim dobar rezultat prije Svjetskog prvenstva i budem u Dohi najspremniji”, rekao je Tuka.
Tuka je iznio i planove za budućnost, a fokus mu je na Svjetskom prvenstvu u atletici, koje će održati u Dohi krajem septembra i početkom oktobra ove godine.
“Bit ću na planini gdje ću se pripremati, nisam baziran na finale Dijamantne lige nego na top formu pred Dohu. Trudit ću se s trenerom da budem što spremniji, da u finalu istrčim dobro vrijeme koje će mi dati samopouzdanje pred Dohu ali i dobar plasman. Trčao sam i 2015. i 2016. u Briselu, ali tada nije bio ovaj sistem bodovanja, tad su mogli samo s najboljim rezultatima trčati, a sada morate imati dovoljna broj bodova iz prethodnih trka bez obzira na rezultat. To je veliko priznanje za mene i sretan sam i ponosan što sam jedini bh. predstavnik na finalu najveće lige, Dijamantne lige u atletici, to je velika čast”, rekao je Tuka.
Tuka je rekao kako je težak period iza njega i kako je pronašao rješenje zajedno sa svojim trenerom za probleme s kojima se susretao te je sada u njegovom timu prisutan veliki broj stručnjaka, od nutricionista do fizioterapeuta.
