Turska vakcina Turkovac dobila odobrenje za hitnu upotrebu

Ministar zdravstva Republike Turske Fahrettin Koca saopćio je da je turska anticovid vakcina Turkovac dobila odobrenje za hitnu upotrebu.
Ministar je prisustvovao puštanju u serijsku proizvodnju inaktivne turske vakcine Turkovac u kompleksu Industrijske zone u Sanliurfi, a događaju je posredstvom video konferencije prisustvovao i turski predsjednik Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Koca je kazao da je vakcina prošla sve faze ispitivanja i da je danas dobila dozvolu za hitnu upotrebu te puštena u serijsku proizvodnju.
“Uvaženi predsjedniče, nalazimo se u jednom od proizvodnih pogona u Sanliurfi. Nakon 50 godina, dobili smo vakcinu koju su u stopostotnom omjeru razvili turski naučnici. Nakon 24 godine pokrećemo vlastitu proizvodnju vakcina. Tako danas postajemo jedna od devet zemalja u svijetu koje proizvode vakcine protiv koronavirusa”, kazao je Koca.
Koca je također kazao da su ispitivanja pokazala da je turska vakcina izuzetno efikasna u borbi protiv koronavirusa te je dodao da će Turska već od naredne sedmice preći na masovnu upotrebu Turkovac vakcina.
