Petorica pirotehničara koja su radila na deminiranju poginula su u eksploziji koja se za vikend dogodila u Jemenu, javlja novinska agencija AFP
U saopćenju se navodi da su u eksploziji poginula dvojica pirotehničara iz Južnoafričke Republike te po jedan iz Hrvatske, Bosne i Hercegovine te s Kosova.
Državljanin Velike Britanije teško je povrijeđen. Identiteti žrtava nisu objavljeni, prenosi Daily Mail.
Prema prvim informacijama, do eksplozije je došlo dok su pirotehničari u provinciji Marib prevozili neeksplodirane naprave na uništenje.
Jemen je, podsjeća AFP, već godinama razoren ratom koji Ujedinjeni narodi zovu najvećom humanitarnom krizom na svijetu.
Procjene Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije su da je od 2015., kada je koalicija predvođena Saudijcima krenula u akciju potpore jemenskoj vladi protiv hutskih pobunjenika, poginulo više od deset hiljada stanovnika Jemena.
