UOČI 1. MARTA Jarbol sa zastavom BiH visine 14 metara postavljen na lokalitetu kraljevskog grada Visoki
U sklopu obilježavanja Dana nezavisnosti Bosne i Hercegovine, 1. marta, danas je postavljen jarbol sa zastavom Bosne i Hercegovine na lokalitetu kraljevskog grada Visoki.Jarbol je visine 14 metara, otporan na udare vjetara i ostale atmosferske uticaje.
Za taj projekat sredstva je osiguralo Federalno ministarstvo kulture i sporta putem transfera za obnovu kulturnog i historijskog naslijeđa, nakon čega je Grad Visoko potpisao Ugovor o izradi, transportu i montaži jarbola i zastave sa dobavljačem “Reppu Enterprenad” d.o.o. Janja.
Grad Visoki je podignut na najistaknutijem uzvišenju, među obroncima planinskog vijenca, koji sa južne strane uokviruje proširenu dolinu rijeke Bosne i Visočko polje. Prvi spomen samog grada “in castro nosto Visoka vocatum” u povelji mladog bana Tvrtka od 1. septembra 1355. godine, znači da je u vrijeme vladavine njegovog prethodnika bana Stjepana II Kotromanića, u prvoj polovini XIV stoljeća, grad ili sagrađen ili je već postojao.
S obzirom na historijski značaj ovog lokaliteta Grad Visoko kontinuirano radi na oživljavanju i afirmaciji kraljevskog grada Visoki kao izuzetne turističke destinacije i jednog od najzačajnijih lokaliteta u hiljadugodišnjoj državnosti Bosne.
U narednoj fazi Grad Visoko će izvršiti uređenje i izgradnju pristupnih staza i osvjetljenje jarbola sa zastavom Bosne i Hercegovine, saopćeno je iz Gradske uprave Visoko.
