Džaferović: Građani su 1. marta 1992. kazali DA nezavisnosti, DA slobodi

Član Predsjedništva Bosne i Hercegovine Šefik Džaferović poručio je da je 1. mart, Dan nezavisnosti BiH jedan od najznačajnijih datuma u historiji države.

– U vremenima crnih oblaka nad BiH, tamnih sila koje su udarale na BiH, htjele da unište BiH, građani su izašli, 29. februara i 1. marta 1992. godine, na referendum u skladu sa Ustavom, sa međunarodnim pravnim aktima i kazali da nezavisnosti BiH, da slobodi, i ne jarmu i ne ropstvu i ne nestanku BiH – kazao je Džaferović novinarima na prijemu u povodu Dana nezavisnosti BiH.

Naveo je da se to ne dešava tako često u historiji zemalja te da je referendum epohalna stvar.

– Generacija koja je ovo ostvarila je učinila epohalnu stvar. To nikada ne smijemo da zaboravimo – istakao je Džaferović.

Naglasio je da je teško naći zemlju u svijetu koja je bila pred ovakvim vrstama odluka, a da se skoro dvije trećine građana opredijelilo da idu putem nezavisnosti.

Bosna i Hercegovina u nedjelju će proslaviti 28. godišnjicu od kada je stekla nezavisnost, a tim povodom predsjedavajući i član Predsjedništva BiH Željko Komšić i Šefik Džaferović organizirali su večeras svečani prijem u zgradi državnog Predsjedništva u Sarajevu.

Dan nezavisnosti BiH obilježava se 1. marta. Punoljetni građani tadašnje Socijalističke Republike BiH glasali su o nezavisnosti na referendumu 29. februara i 1. marta 1992. godine.

Na referendum je izašlo 2.073.568 glasača što je predstavljalo izlaznost od 63,6 posto. Od tog broja njih 99,7 posto je glasalo za nezavisnost, a 0,3 posto protiv te odluke.

Parlament je 28. februara 1995. godine donio odluku da se 1. mart slavi kao Dan nezavisnosti BiH. Evropska zajednica 6. aprila 1992. godine priznala je BiH kao nezavisnu i suverenu državu.
