Večeras nastupa mjesec ramazan, sutra prvi dan posta
Prema Takvimu Rijaseta Islamske zajednice (IZ) u Bosni i Hercegovini, zalaskom sunca večeras nastupa mjesec ramazan, dok će prvi dan posta biti sutra, 23. marta.
Nakon 30 dana posta muslimani dočekuju Ramazanski bajram, jedan od dva najveća muslimanska praznika, a bajram-namaz je u petak, 21. aprila.
Rijaset Islamske zajednice će tokom ovog mjeseca organizirati brojne vjerske aktivnosti, te jedinstvene programe povodom obilježavanja značajnijih datuma, odnosno mubarek noć Lejletul-bedra, Fethu-Mekke i Lejletul-kadra.
Ramazan je deveti mjesec hidžretskog kalendara koji muslimani i muslimanke provode u postu od zore do zalaska sunca, nastojeći steći Božije zadovoljstvo, moralno pročišćenje i duhovnu snagu.
Prema islamskom učenju, u ovom odabranom mjesecu nalazi se noć Lejletu-l-kadr u kojoj je ljudima počelo spuštanje Božije objave Kur'ana i noć Bedra, historijskog događaja koji je snažno usmjerio povijest islama.
Ramazanski post jedan je od pet stubova islama, zajedno s muslimanskim svjedočenjem vjere, dnevnim molitvama, zekatom (godišnjim izdvajanjem iz imetka) i odlaskom na hadž u Meku.
Ramazan je najvažniji mjesec za muslimane širom svijeta, pa i za one koji vijekovima žive u Bosni i Hercegovini i čuvaju ramazansku tradiciju.
