Vijeće ministara BiH počelo donositi odluke: Odobren sporazum sa EU
Vijeće ministara BiH, na današnjoj vanrednoj telefonskoj sjednici, utvrdio je Prijedlog međunarodnog sporazuma između Bosne i Hercegovine, s jedne strane, i Evropske unije (EU), s druge strane, o učešću Bosne i Hercegovine u programu Unije Horizon Evropa – Okvirni program za istraživanje i inovacije.
Prijedlog ranije dogovorenog sporazuma biće dostavljen Predsjedništvu Bosne i Hercegovine u daljnu zakonom previđenu proceduru, a za potpisnicu je predložena ministrica civilnih poslova.
Predsjedništvu BiH je takođe predloženo da s danom potpisivanja ovog sporazuma odobri njegovu privremenu primjenu, a do okončanja postupka ratifikacije.
Vijeće ministara BiH na ovaj način potvrđuje kontinuitet učešća u programu EU-a za istraživanje i inovacije od 2009. godine i stvara uslove za primjenu ovog sporazuma kojim je EU omogućio naučno-istraživačkim organizacijama iz BiH da učestvuju u Programu Horizon Evropa od njegova početka, 1. januara 2021. godine, i iskoriste svoj istraživački i inovacijski potencijal.
Evropska unija će potpisati ugovore s pravnim licima iz Bosne i Hercegovine kojima su odobreni projekti u konkursnoj proceduri tokom 2021. godine.
Bosna i Hercegovina je za učešće u ovom programu obezbjedila plaćanje ulazne karte koja će u 2021. godini, prema procjenama EU-a, iznositi 1.545120,00 evra, s tim da će dio biti finansiran iz fonda IPA.
Horizon Evropa je sedmogodišnji program EU-a, nasljednik programa Horizont 2020 u kojem je Bosna i Hercegovina učestvovala kao pridružena zemlja u periodu trajanja programa od 2014. do 2020. godine. Riječ je o ključnom programu finansiranja EU-a za istraživanje i inovacije s budžetom od 95,5 milijardi evra. Program, među ostalim, finansira istraživanja o klimatskim promjenama, pomaže u dostizanju ciljeva održivog razvoja UN-a, povećava konkurentnost, olakšava saradnju i jača uticaj istraživanja i inovacija na razvoj.
