Volonter primio prvu dozu eksperimentalne vakcine protiv korona virusa
Prvi volonter u istraživanju lijeka protiv korona virusa primio je danas prvu dozu eksperimentalne vakcine, objavio je Američki institut za alergije i zarazne bolesti (NIAID).
U prvoj fazi testiranja vakcine učestvovat će 45 zdravih odraslih osoba šest sedmica, prenosi BBC.
Svaka osoba dobit će dvije injekcije u razmaku od mjesec dana, a naučnici se nadaju da će imunološki sistem ispitanika dobro reagovati na vakcinu i da će se pokazati da zaustavlja infekciju.
Ovo eksperimentalno testiranje finansira NIAID, a održava se u Sijetlu.
Vakcinu su stručnjaci razvili u saradnji sa kompanijom Moderna, koja je radila i na otkrivanju vakcine protiv SARS-a i MERS-a.
