Završne pripreme Oružanih snaga BiH za bilateralnu vježbu „Brzi odgovor 21“
Oružane snage Bosne i Hercegovine realiziraju završne pripreme za predstojeću bilateralnu vježbu sa Oružanim snagama SAD-a „Brzi odgovor 21“ („Immediate Response 21“).
Vježba „Brzi odgovor 21“ realizirat će se u drugoj polovini mjeseca maja 2021. u sklopu multilateralne vježbe „Branilac Evrope 21“ („Defender Europe 21“), a u organizaciji američke Komande kopnenih snaga za Evropu i Afriku (USAEUR-AF).
Vježba „Brzi odgovor 21“ je glavni događaj u 2021. godini iz oblasti obuke za Oružane snage Bosne i Hercegovine, a provodit će se na poligonima za obuku Oružanih snaga BiH Manjača i Glamoč, te na lokaciji kasarne i aerodroma „Dubrave“.
“Drago mi je što Oružane snage BiH učestvuju u ovoj međunarodnoj vježbi. Savremene prijetnje zahtijevaju zajedničke napore i odgovor više zemalja. Ponosni smo da je Bosna i Hercegovina sa svojim Oružanim snagama dio vježbovne operacije”, izjavio je povodom vježbe ministar odbrane BiH dr. Sifet Podžić, te dodao: “Posebno se zahvaljujem našim prijateljima iz SAD-a na pomoći i saradnji u pripremi i izvođenju ove vježbe”.
Oružane snage BiH će na vježbi da učestvuju sa oko 500 pripadnika iz sastava Bataljonske grupe lake pješadije – deklarisane jedinice po NATO-ovom Konceptu operativnih sposobnosti, dok će Oružane snage SAD-a učestvovati sa kopnenim i zračnim komponentama sa preko 700 pripadnika.
„Oružane snage BiH i SAD rade na zajedničkim rješenjima za unapređenje regionalne stabilnosti i sigurnosti. Ovom vježbom unaprijeđujemo partnersku saradnju sa SAD-om i NATO partnerima, te nastavljamo razvijati interoperabilnost i sposobnost za izvođenje operacija, to jeste da u realnom vremenu i međunarodnom okruženju realiziramo dodijeljene zadatke“, istakao je načelnik Zajedničkog štaba OS BiH generalpukovnik Senad Mašović.
Tokom realizacije vježbe će biti poduzete sve propisane higijensko-epidemiološke mjere u cilju sprečavanja širenje virusa COVID-19.
