Zbog pada cijena nafte dolar naglo izgubio vrijednost u odnosu na euro, jen i funtu
Neke od najznačajnijih svjetskih valuta – euro, britanska funta i japanski jen naglo su ojačale u odnosu na američki dolar, što je posljedica današnjeg pada cijena nafte na svjetskom tržištu.Jedinstvena evropska valuta je tako naglo dostigla vrijednost od 1,14 u odnosu na američki dolar, što predstavlja najveću vrijednost u proteklih 13 mjeseci. Riječ je i o svojevrsnom nastavku rasta vrijednosti eura, koji je počeo krajem februara 2020. godine.
Što se tiče britanske funte, ona se jutros nalazi na najvrednijoj tački od kraja januara ove godine, pa jedna funta košta 1,31 dolar.
Japanski jen je također ojačao u odnosu na dolar pa jedan USD jutros košta 102 jena. Iako to možda zvuči beznačajno, riječ je o najvećoj cijeni japanske valute od oktobra 2016. godine.
S druge strane, u odnosu na dolar pale su ruska rublja, norveška kruna te kanadski dolar.
Podsjećamo, cijena nafte za jedan dan je pala za više od 30 posto na svjetskom tržištu zbog koronavirusa, što je uzrokovalo pravi haos na svjetskim berzama.
