Zemljotres u Turskoj-18 mrtvih i 553 povrijeđeno, traga se za 30 osoba u Elazigu
Prema najnovijim informacijama, 18 osoba je poginulo, a 553 su povrijeđene u zemljotresu jačine 6,8 stepeni po Richteru koji je u petak pogodio istočni turski grad Elazig, javlja Anadolija.
Ministar unutrašnjih poslova Suleyman Soylu, ministar zdravstva Fahrettin Koca i ministar urbanizma i okoliša Murat Kurum doputovali su u Elazig koji je danas pogođen zemljotresom.
Ministar Koca je na konferenciji za novinare potvrdio da je u zemljotresu poginulo 18 osoba, dok su povrijeđene 553 osobe. Posljedice zemljotresa najviše su se osjetile u gradovima Elazig i Malatya. Po riječima Koce, u Elazigu je poginulo 13, dok je u Malatyi smrtno stradalo pet osoba.
Ministar urbanizma i okoliša Kurum je kazao kako je posljedicama zemljotresa u Elazigu urušeno pet, dok je u gradu Malatya srušeno 25 stambenih objekata.
Ministar Soylu je rekao kako spasilačke službe tragaju za još najmanje 30 osoba u gradu Elazigu, dok u Malatyi, prema posljednjim informacijama, nema osoba koje se vode kao nestale.
Direkcija za upravljanje vanrednim situacijama (AFAD) saopćila je da je epicentar potresa registriran u 20.55 sati po lokalnom vremenu, u mjestu Sivrice, nedaleko od grada Elaziga, u blizini granice sa Sirijom.
Zemljotres se osjetio i u okolnim gradovima Adana, Hatay i Osmaniye, te na području sjevernih dijelova Sirije i Iraka.
Iz AFAD-a je također potvrđeno kako je nakon ovog zemljotresa zabilježeno još 60 naknadnih potresa slabijeg intenziteta, među kojima je osam jačih od 4,0 stepena po Richteru.
