Žestoki sukobi s policijom: Nasilje na prosvjedu protiv stroge karantene u Dublinu
HAOS U IRSKOJ
Veliki broj ljudi izašao je u subotu na ulice Dublina kako bi prosvjedovao protiv mjera zatvaranja, a izbilo je i nasilje.
Policajci su se sukobili s prosvjednicima koji su se pokušavali probiti do glavnog parka, Saint Stephen's Greena, objavila je televizija RTE.
Vlada je osudila nasilje.
“Nema izgovora za nasilje prema policiji ili bilo kome”, poručio je zamjenik premijera Leo Varadkar putem Twittera.
Irska vlada nedavno je najavila da će produljiti najstrožu karantenu do 5. aprila, premda će se škole postupno otvoriti od ponedjeljka.
