U-21 reprezentativci se u Zenici spremaju za utakmice sa Sjevernom Irskom i Švedskom.
Selektor Slobodan Starčević u predstojećim susretima ne može da računa na Belmina Mešinovića koji je pozitivan na virus korona, kao i trener Mario Ivanković.
O radu u kampu i narednom protivniku trener u stručnom štabu mlade reprezentacije Admir Raščić kaže:
„Pripreme idu svojim tokom, ali danas nas je poremetilo to što su nakon PCR testiranja pozitivni Mešinović i moj kolega Ivanković. Sigurno da će nam nedostajati na ovom okupljanju. Osim toga rad igrača na treninzima je za svaku pohvalu i svi jedva čekamo utakmice. Irci će protiv nas prvi put nastupiti sa novim selektorom, ali gledali smo im prijašnje utakmice i možemo reći da su protivnici dobro skautirani i da ćemo znati kako da se postavimo protiv njih.“
Defanzivac Đorđe Milojević je izjavio:
„U kampu smo već treći dan, maksimalno smo fokusirani na treninzima i jedva čekamo susret sa Irskom. Tu je dosta igrača sa prijašnjih okupljanja tako da se svi vrlo dobro poznajemo. U Trening centru imamo sve uslove da se maksimalno spremimo za predstojeće utakmice. Irska je dobra i kompaktna ekipa. Znamo koje su njihove vrline ali i mane, tako da je na nama da pružimo svoj maksimum kako bismo ostvarili što bolji rezultat i u još boljoj atmosferi dočekali Švedsku u Zenici.“
Do utakmice sa Republikom Irskom izabranici Slobodana Starčevića će danas odraditi još jedan trening. Meč je na programu 3. septembra u 16:30 sati u Trening centru NS/FS BiH u Zenici.
