ZVANIČNO Dušan Bajević je novi selektor nogometne reprezentacije BiH
Bajević je legenda jugoslovenskog i bosanskohercegovačkog nogometa i jedan od najboljih napadača u historiji bivše zajedničke države.
U dresu Veleža je igrao 1966. do 1977., nakon čega je otišao u grčki AEK, te se ponovo vratio u Velež 1981. i odigrao dvije posljednje sezone u karijeri.
Popularni Princ sa Neretve je po završetku igračke kariijere postao trener voljenog Veleža sa kojim je osvojio Kup Maršala Tita, a najveće trenerske uspjehe imao je u Grčkoj vodeći AEK i Olympiacos. Jedan je od rijetkih koji je sjedio i na klupi najljućih solunskih rivala PAOK-a i Arisa.
Bajević je jedan od najzaslužnijih ljudi za spas bh. nogometa 2011. godine kada je kao član Komisije za normalizaciju bio dio ekipe koja je uspjela ispuniti zahtjeve FIFA-e da se ukine suspenzija našem savezu.
Bajević će voditi ekipu u martovskim duelima baraža za Euro, a nije isključeno i da ostane na klupi tokom Evropskog prvenstva ukoliko se Zmajevi tamo i plasiraju.
