U Gradačcu obilježen Dan pobjede nad fašizmom
Ovaj značajan datum se obilježava u organizaciji Udruženja antifašista i boraca NOR-a (UABNOR-a) Gradačca. Prisutne je pozdravio i zahvalio na dolasku predsjednik UABNOR Gradačac, Husein Mejremić a održan je i prigodan referat kao podsjećanje na značaj i ulogu boraca u sastavu antifašističke koalicije u slamanju pojave fašizma na ovim prostorima.
Na današnji dan, 9. maja 1945. godine Njemačka je potpisala bezuslovnu kapitulaciju u Drugom svjetskom ratu, u kojem je živote izgubilo nviše od 50 miliona ljudi. Iako je rat zvanično završen tek nekoliko mjeseci kasnije, kapitulacijom carskog Japana, u svim zemljama Evrope 9. maj se obilježava kao Dan pobjede nad fašizmom.
Dan pobjede je jedan od najznačajnijih praznika u evropskom kalendaru, a s obzirom da označava prelomni trenutak u kojem je i definisan budući izgled Evrope, ovaj dan se ujedno obilježava i kao Dan Evrope. Dan pobjede nad fašizmom u Drugom svjetskom ratu 1945. jedan je od najznačajnijih praznika kojim se antifašizam potvrdjuje kao civilizacijska tekovina.
Ovaj Datum se obilježava također i kao Dan Zlatnih ljiljana i Dan Evrope.
