Albanska zastava zbog tragedije spuštena na pola koplja, oglasio se i predsjednik
Predsednik Albanije Ilir Meta na Facebooku je objavio snimak spuštanja državne zastave na pola koplja u znak žalosti zbog razornog zemljotresa koji je odnio najmanje 16 života.
“U čast života izgubljenih u ovoj velikoj katastrofi za našu zemlju”, napisao je Meta koji je odmah jutros izašao na teren i bio sa sugrađanima u pogođenim područjima oko Tirane.
U zemljotresu, čiji je epicentar zabilježen kod grada Drača na moru, povrijeđeno je najmanje 600 osoba.
Brojni objekti su srušeni, a spasilačke ekipe rade na otkopavanju i potrazi za nestalima. Zemljotres je uzrokovao brojne probleme širom Albanije poput onih telekomunikacijskih.
Jak potres osjetio se širom cijelog regiona, a nekoliko sati kasnije novi jak zemljotres zabilježen je sa epicentrom u BiH kod Nevesinja. Albaniju je danas, pored navedenog razornog, pogodilo više od 20 manjih zemljotresa.
