Američki Travel of Path, jedna od najvećih web stranica u Sjevernoj Americi posvećenih putovanjima, objavila je tekst o Bosni i Hercegovini, pod naslovom “Manje poznata destinacija u Evropi, gdje s uzbuđenjem dočekuju nove posjetitelje”.
U fokusu teksta su tri stvari: gostoljubivost građana naše zemlje, visok stepen sigurnosti za turiste i pristupačnost putovanja u BiH s financijskog aspekta.
Tekst počinje napomenom kako zapadnji Evropljani baš i nisu poznati po gostoljubivosti prema turistima, pa tako “Francuzi kolutaju očima na Amerikance zapanjene prizorima Pariza”, a “talijanski konobari su malo previše otvoreni kada primaju narudžbe”, što turiste čini da se osjećaju nepoželjnima, navodi autor teksta.
Međutim, to nije slučaj sa BiH, dodaje autor.
– Srećom, nije se cijela Evropa odljubila od Amerikanaca: postoji posebno jedno odredište koje ne samo da potiče strance da ga posjete, nego su domaći ljudi zapravo i uzbuđeni što ih mogu ugostiti.
Zašto bi trebali posjetiti BiH?
BiH inače ne bi bila visoko na vašoj listi mjesta za posjetiti, osim ako niste dobro upućeni u geopolitiku i ako ste čuli za bosanski rat devedesetih, dodaje autor teksta.
Uz živopisne fotografije s ulica Sarajeva i Mostara, tekst ističe kako će Bosanci i Hercegovci učiniti sve kako bi se njihovi gosti osjećali “kao dio porodice”.
– Nije neobično da se mještani sprijatelje s gostima i veselo ih pozovu u svoju porodičnu kuću na domaći sir i rakiju, osnovno balkansko piće, budući da su mnogi mali gradovi i sela u srcu Hercegovine zadržali svoje stoljetne ugostiteljske vrijednosti – navodi autor teksta.
Pominje i statistiku.
Prošle je godine zemlja zabilježila 1,9 miliona noćenja, što je 81 posto više u odnosu na 2021. godinu, ali još uvijek zaostaje za rekordnim brojkama koje bilježe neki od njenih susjeda, poput Hrvatske, Crne Gore i sve popularnije Albanije.
Autor teksta dodaje, kako se BiH obično zanemaruje kao ljetna destinacija, budući da se njena morska obala proteže tek na dvadesetak kilometara.
Ipak, ističe, to ne znači da BiH nedostaje prirodnih ljepota: sa svojom mediteranskom faunom, ugodnim vremenom, prekrasnim kristalno čistim jezerima, netaknutim rezervatima i slikovitim krajolikom Dinarskih Alpa koji se proteže kroz njen centar, što zemlju čini mjestom za bijeg u prirodu.
Od prirodnih ljepota navode se nacionalni parkovi Sutjeska, Kozara i Una, koji obiluju prirodnim ljepotama ali i historijom.
Dodaje kako BiH ima fascinantnu kulturu, od glavnog grada Sarajeva, gdje je ubijen austrougarski prestolonasljednik i nadvojvoda Franc Ferdinand, do bajkovitog grada Mostara, poznatog po svom rekonstruiranom kamenom mostu koji se proteže preko rijeka tirkizne boje.
