Ćivić: Dali smo više od maksimuma i tako ostavili Slogu i Olimpik iza sebe
Zvijezda je juče na domaćem terenu ostvarila bitnu pobjedu protiv Čapljine i tako ostala na liderskoj poziciji, na kojoj će prezimiti ovaj prelazni rok. Jesenji šampion obradovao je svoje navijače i tako na najbolji način obilježio prvu polusezonu u Prvoj ligi.
Sa statistikom od 10 pobjeda, 3 remija i samo 2 poraza, Gradačačani se i više nego zasluženo nalaze na prvoj poziciji. Iza sebe su ostavili Slogu i Olimpik kojima su se pred start prvenstva davale veće šanse za povratak u Premijer ligu BiH, međutim Zvijezda trenutno drži konce u svojim rukama.
Pred njima je kratak odmor, a zatim pripremni period i prelazni rok, na kojem će se morati pojačati kako bi do kraja uspješno vodili bitku za prvo mjesto. Šabić će imati puno posla na trenerskoj poziciji, ali ako je suditi po njegovom dosadašnjem radu, Zvijezda bi i na proljeće mogla biti hit sezone. Ono što svakako ide u prilog prvoligašu iz Gradačca jeste jedna utakmica više na domaćem terenu koja ih očekuje u drugoj polusezoni.
“Trener Šabić nas je posložio kao kockice – i više nego odlično. Ekipa koja primi samo tri gola u 15 odigranih utakmica jednostavno mora biti prva na tabeli. Zasluženo smo na liderskoj poziciji i svi smo dali više od maksimuma i možda nadmašili mnoga očekivanja sportske javnosti i navijača. Imali smo kontinuitet tokom prve polusezone i tako smo ostavili iza sebe ekipe kao što su Sloga i Olimpik, a svakako da to nije mala stvar. Pred nama je kratka pauza, a zatim još puno rada i borbe kako bi ostvarili svoj zacrtani cilj i obradovali publiku u Gradačcu” – izjavio je za naš portal Muharem Ćivić, jedan od najboljih fudbalera iz redova Zvijezde.
