DANAS JE DAN ŠEHIDA: NAJRABRIJI SINOVI BIH NE SMIJU BITI ZABORAVLJENI
Odlukom Rijaseta Islamske zajednice u Bosni i Hercegovini od 23. januara 1995. godine drugi dan Ramazanskog bajrama proglašen je Danom šehida.
To je dan sjećanja na sve one koji su svoje živote dali braneći svoju porodicu, čast, domovinu i vjeru. Na Dan šehida se obilaze šehidska mezarja, posjete šehidske porodice, prouči hatma za sve šehide i podsjeti se na njihovu uzvišenu žrtvu.
I danas će porodice šehida, građani i delegacije širom naše zemlje obići mezarja i odati počast najhrabrijim sinovima BiH koji su za odbranu domovine dali ono najvažnije što su imali – svoj život.
