Godišnjica presude ratnim zločincima kakve Evropa nije vidjela još od nacista
Danas se navršavaju četiri godine od presude kojom su čelnici paradržavne tvorevine Herceg-Bosne osuđeni na ukupno 111 godina zatvora.
Na današnji dan 2017. godine sudija Carmel Agius pročitao je zaključke Žalbenog vijeća koje je potvrdilo osuđujuće presude Jadranku Prliću, Bruni Stojiću, Slobodanu Praljku, Milivoju Petkoviću, Valentinu Ćoriću i Berislavu Pušiću za Udrženi zločinački poduhvat u osam opština i pet zarobljeničkih centara na teritoriji Bosne i Hercegovine.
Prlić je osuđen na 25 godina zatvora, Stojić, Praljak i Petkovića na po 20 godina zatvora, Ćorić na 16 godina zatvora i Pušić na 10 godina zatvora.
Velika Hrvatska i etničko čišćenje muslimana
Haški tribunal je potvrdio da je dio UZP-a i tadašnje rukovodstvo Hrvatske na čelu Franjom Tuđmanom. Utvrđeno je da su, osim Tuđmana, u UZP-u učestvovali i tadašnji ministar odbrane Hrvatske Gojko Šušak i načelnik Generalštaba Hrvatske vojske general Janko Bobetko, a da je cilj bio stvaranje velike Hrvatske u granicama Banovine iz 1939. godine. Žalbeno vijeće je potvrdilo da je cilj udruženog zločinačkog poduhvata bio stvaranje hrvatskog entiteta u Bosni i Hercegovini koji bi omogućio ponovno ujedinjenje hrvatskog naroda, putem etničkog čišćenja muslimanskog stanovništva.
Prlić, Stojić, Praljak, Petković, Ćorić, i Pušić osuđeni su i za zločine protiv čovječnosti, kršenja zakona ili običaja ratovanja i teške povrede Ženevskih konvencija, konkretno za ubistvo, hotimično lišavanje života, progone na političkoj, rasnoj i vjerskoj osnovi, deportaciju, protivpravno zatočenje civila, prisilni rad, nečovječna djela, nečovječno postupanje, protivpravno i bezobzirno uništavanje imovine širokih razmjera koje nije opravdano vojnom nuždom, uništavanje ili hotimično nanošenje štete ustanovama namjenjenim religiji ili obrazovanju, protivpravne napade na civile i protivpravno terorisanje civila.
Osim toga, Prlić, Stojić, Petković i Ćorić osuđeni su i za silovanje, nečovječno postupanje (seksualno zlostavljanje), protivpravno i bezobzirno oduzimanje imovine širokih razmjera koje nije opravdano vojnom nuždom, i pljačkanje javne i privatne imovine po osnovu treće kategorije odgovornosti za učešće u udruženom zločinačkom poduhvatu.
Ćorić je dodatno osuđen za više zločina za koje snosi odgovornost kao nadređeni.
Praljak je osuđen i za protivpravno i bezobzirno oduzimanje imovine širokih razmjera koje nije opravdano vojnom nuždom i pljačkanje javne i privatne imovine po osnovu treće kategorije odgovornosti za učešće u udruženom zločinačkom poduhvatu.
Nakon što je Haški sud izrekao presudu protiv njega za zločine protiv čovječnosti u periodu između 1992. i 1995., Praljak je popio cijanid i počinio samoubistvo.
Zločinci poput nacista
Urednik na BBC-u Jeremy Bowen tu je noć u udarnom terminu objavio komentar u kojem konstatuje da su Praljak i ostali najgori ratni zločinci koje je Evropa vidjela još od nacista.
Sudbina paradržavne tvorevina i zločinačkog projekta definitvno je zapečaćena u Hagu.
Ahmići, Stupni do, Drtelj …
Jedan od najvećih zločina bio je pokolj u Ahmićima kod Viteza koji je izvršen 16. aprila 1993. godine. Pripadnici jedinice Jokeri HVO-a ubili su tog jutra 116 bošnjačkih civila, veliki broj žena i djece, među kojima i tromjesečnu bebu. Mozak operacije u Ahmićima Dario Kordić osuđen je pred Međunarodnim sudom za ratne zločine u Hagu na 25 godina zatvora, a nakon izlaska iz zatvora bavi se držanjem vjerskih predavanja i borbom protiv prava žena na abortus, jer, prema njegovom mišljenju niko nema pravo oduzeti život koji je dao Bog.
Pokolj u Stupnom Dolu kod Vareša u kojem je ubijeno 38 Bošnjaka izvršen je 23. oktobra 1993. godine, a izvršili su ga pripadnici odreda Maturice i Apostoli pod komandom Ivice Rajića, koji je u Hagu priznao krivicu zašto je osuđen na 12 godina zatvora. Rajiću je komandu izdao Milivoj Petković, koji je u Hagu pravosnažno osuđen na 20 godina zatvora. Petković je Rajiću naredio da ide u Vareš i sredi situaciju, te da nema milosti ni prema kome.
Među najveće zločine i obilježja te paradržave spadaju i brojni logori poput onih u Hercegovini Dretelj, Heliodrom, Gabela…
Logor Heliodrom južno od Mostara, koji je ranije korišten samo kao heliodrom HVO-a čija su helikopterska skladišta i garaže prenamijenjena u zatvoreničke ćelije. Pripadnici HVO-a su u tom logoru od 1993. do polovine 1994. držali veliki broj Bošnjaka, a broj logoraša bio je otprilike oko 1.800 u maju 1993., da bi u junu spao na oko 500.
Logoraši su prošli razne psihičke i fizičke torture, a u najtežim slučajevima bili su prisiljeni hodati ispred snaga HVO-a kao ljudski štit. Stražari su ih tukli, posebno ako bi HVO gubio na ratištu. Pojedini su zatvorenici vođeni na prisilni rad, kao što je kopanje rovova ili gradnja vojnih utvrda, ali i skupljanje tijela mrtvih HVO vojnika.
Prihvatanje odgovornosti
Nekadašnji ministar obrane Herceg-Bosne Bruno Stojić, koji je osuđen na 20 godina zatvora uputio je ovo godine Međunarodnom mehanizmu za krivične sudove pismo u kojem izražava žaljenje zbog svih žrtava. On je uz izvinjenje žrtvama i njihovim porodicama u pismu naveo kako je potpuno svjestan težine djela za koje je proglašen krivim i osuđen na dugotrajnu kaznu zatvora.
Isto je učinio i general general Milivoj Petković.
– Imam potrebu reći i Vama i svima drugima da ja prihvaćam presudu i osobnu odgovornost za svoja djela ili propuste koji su doveli do počinjenja zločina zbog kojih sam osuđen. Prihvatio sam i kaznu koju služim. Za počinjene zločine nema opravdanja ni izlike. Zbog toga osjećam iskreno kajanje i izražavam, i ovom prilikom, duboku sućut svim žrtvama, pripadnicima bošnjačkog naroda, njihovoj rodbini i prijateljima, napisao je Petković u svom pismu Sudu.

Najzanimljiviji detalji ove historijske presude prikazani su i kroz film ‘Pravda’ mostarskog Centra za mir u kojem je korišten arhivski materijal iz medijskih izvještaja. U filmu su detalji iz sudnice, izjave glavnih aktera, svjedoka, reakcije iz Haaga i Bosne i Hercegovine.
