Kosovska vojska spremna za NATO
Kosovske snage bezbjednosti (KSB) spremne su za pridruživanje NATO-u, poručio je premijer Kosova Ramush Haradinaj
Kosovo, naveo je Haradinaj, funkcioniše u skladu sa slobodnom voljom svojih građana koja je, kako kaže, “u službi mira u zemlji, regionu i svijetu”.
“KBS krenule su u proces postizanja punog kapaciteta vojske i spremne su da se pridruže NATO-u u mirovnim misijama. Sa komandantom združenih savezničkih snaga u Napulju, admiralom Foggom razgovarali smo o nastavku bliske saradnje između naših institucija i KFOR-a, kako bi se garantovalo sigurno okruženje za sve”, napisao je Haradinaj, čija Vlada je dovedena u pitanje nakon što je ranije danas ponovo odbio da ukine stopostotno nametnute takse na robu iz Srbije i BiH, na zahtjev SAD-a.
Admiral Foggo pozvao je KBS da se pridržavaju ograničenja kada je u pitanju djelovanje na sjeveru Kosova, nakon što se u Prištini sastao sa Haradinajem, Hashimom Thacijem i Daliborom Jevtićem.
On je naglasio potrebu da se aktivnosti KBS-a ograniče u skladu s pismom Thacija iz 2013. godine, gdje se navodi da KBS neće djelovati na sjeveru Kosova bez prethodnog odobrenja NATO-a, navodi se u saopštenju KFOR-a.
On je tom prilikom naglasio da Specijalne policijske snage Kosova nisu dio KBS i da se tu mora napraviti razlika, prenosi Tanjug.
Rekao je i da očekuje da tranzicija KBS-a bude postepena, transparentna i inkluzivna, i da bude u koordinaciji sa NATO-om i međunarodnom zajednicom.
