Manchester City izbačen je iz Lige prvaka za naredne dvije sezone najjačeg evropskog nogometnog takmičenja (2020/2021, 2021/2022), javio je Guardian.
UEFA je donijela ovu odluku nakon što su utvrđeni veliki propusti i kršenje finansijskog fair playa.
UEFA je zaključila kako je Manchester City lažno prijavio prihode od sponzora u papirologiji koju su dostavili UEFA-i, a koja se odnosi na finansijski fair play.
Osim što je izbačen iz Lige prvaka, Manhcester City će morati platiti i 30 miliona eura kazne.
