“Smatramo kako je uzorak izbrojanih glasova nedovoljan da bi se mogla proglasiti pobjeda i mi u SDP-u u ovom trenutku na obrađenih 411.973 glasova imamo podatke da Bećirović ima 127.816 glasova, a Džaferović 120.271 glas. Smatramo da treba izbrojati svaki glas i na osnovu toga proglasiti pobjednika. Između Bećirovića i Džaferovića je mrtva trka i tih 6-7 hiljada glasova prednosti koje ima Bećirović daje nam za pravo da insistiramo na tome da se proces dovode do kraja, da se izbroje svi glasovi”, kazao je Nikšić.
Bez obzira na rezultate glasanja, zahvalio se Denisu Bećiroviću na kampanji koju je vodio. Istakao je da je previše rano da se govori o rezultatima za nivoe vlasti, ali da SDP očekuje veći broj zastupnika na svim nivoima vlasti kao i da će kao Proevropski blok ući u NSRS.
Nikšić je tokom konferencije za medije čestitao Željku Komšiću na pobjedi.
