Počela vježba, američki i bh. helikopteri na nebu nedaleko od Banjaluke
Pripadnici Oružanih snaga Bosne i Hercegovine i Sjedinjenih Američkih Država će od 7. do 20. jula na vojnom poligonu Manjača, nedaleko od Banjaluke, razmjeniti vojna iskustava u okviru programa “Partnerstvo za mir” koji provodi NATO.
Tri američka helikoptera opšte namjene tipa UH-60 Black Hawk će skupa sa helikopterima Oružanih snaga BiH (OS BiH) letjeti na i oko poligona Manjača i aerodroma Mahovljani, nedaleko od Banjaluke, najavilo je je Ministarstvo odbrane BiH 6. jula.
Na jačanju interoperabilnosti vojnih trupa dviju država će skupa sa izviđačkim vodovima iz 4, 5, i 6. brigade OS BiH iskustva razmjeniti oko 90 američkih vojnika 173. pješadijske brigade, 12. borbene zrakoplovne brigade, i Nacionalne garde savezne države Maryland, rečeno je iz Ambasade SAD-a u BiH.
Zamjenik ministra odbrane Bosne i Hercegovine Mijo Krešić je 6. jula najavio da je cilj BiH da izgradi operativno efikasan, ekonomičan odbrambeno-sigurnosni sistem koji je kompatibilan sa NATO trupama.
“Proces planiranja i revizije (PARP) u okviru sudjelovanja BiH u NATO-ovom programu Partnerstva za mir (PfP) za tekuću 2022. i partnerski ciljevi najbolji su alat za to”, ocijenio je Krešić koji je zamjenik ministra za politiku i planove.
Čelnici Ministarstva odbrane i Oružanih snaga BiH su 6. jula u Sarajevu otpočeli trodnevni sastanak sa izaslanstvom Glavnog štaba NATO-a iz Brisela, na kojem se razmatra procjena provedbe PARP-a.
Krešić je, kako je saopćeno iz Ministarstava odbrane BiH, kazao da su Ministarstvo odbrane i Oružane snage BiH opredijeljeni za nastavak saradnje s Glavnim sjedištem NATO-a na PARP-u, kako bi se dosegle nove razine opremljenosti i obučenosti OSBiH.
PARP je mehanizam koji omogućuje identifikaciju snaga i sposobnosti partnerske zemlje koji mogu biti na raspolaganju NATO-u u zajedničkim vježbama i operacijama pod NATO komandom.
Član Predsjedništva BiH Željko Komšić je 30 juna izjavo da BiH prelazi iz partnerske u savezničku fazu odnosa sa NATO-om, bez obzira na “razne kočničare” u BiH.
Komšić je tada pozdravio najavu Vlade Velike Britanije da će poslati vojne stručnjake kako bi pomogli BiH da se osigura od ruskih prijetnji. Komšić je istakao važnost činjenica da NATO vidi secesionizam iz entiteta Republika Srpska i što uviđa da su Oružane snage BiH “jedna od važnijih državnih institucija”.
BiH je krajem juna prvi put prisustvovala NATO samitu u Madridu kao zemlja partner a delegaciju je predvodio ministar odbrane Sifet Podžić.
Prethodno je delegacija Parlamentarne skupštine NATO-a boravila u BiH od 7. do 9. juna, nakon čega je saopštila da se BiH nosi s najtežom političkom krizom “u trenutku ozbiljne međunarodne napetosti u Evropi povezane s ruskim ratom protiv Ukrajine.”
BiH je od 2006. godine članica NATO-ovog Partnerstva za mir, političko-vojnog programa ovog saveza.
Nakon održanih opštih izbora u oktobru 2018. godine, više od godinu dana trajala je blokada formiranja Vijeća ministara zbog odbijanja Milorada Dodika da se u Brisel pošalje godišnji Akcijski plan BiH (ANP) za NATO.
Akcijski plan predstavlja pripremnu fazu za punopravno članstvo u ovom savezu, a BiH je trenutno jedina zemlja u ANP-u.
Blokada je završena u decembru 2019. godine, kada je dogovoreno da se u NATO štab pošalje dokument pod nazivom “Program reformi”.
