Radovi na rekonstrukciji Starog srednjoškolskog centra
U toku su radovi na rekonstrukciji prostora u Starom srednjoškolskom centru u MZ Vida 2. Ovi radovi se odvijaju u sklopu projekta „ Osnivanje Trening centra za stručno osposobljavanje u sjevernoj Bosni“ koji Općina Gradačac implementira zajedno sa UNDP-om, Turskom razvojnom agencijom ( TIKA ) i privrednicima iz Gradačca. Završetkom radova stvorit će se uslovi za upostavu Trening centra za stručno osposobljavanje. Vrijednost radova je 290.000 KM uz sufinansiranje Općine Gradačac sa 80.000 KM.
U vrijeme kada veliki broj mladih napušta Bosnu i Hercegovinu općinska administracija u Gradačcu zajedno sa partnerima radi na zaustavljanju tog negativnog trenda osnivajući Centar koji će osposobiti mlade ljude za određene poslove, a koji su deficitarni na području općine Gradačac, ali i čitave regije Sjeverna Bosna.
Cilj projekta je rješavanje nedostatka kvalificirane radne snage u ključnim privrednim granama u sjevernoistočnoj Bosni, čime se rješava jedan od glavnih razloga visoke nezaposlenosti i niske produktivnosti. Uspostavom Centra za stručno osposobljavanje u Gradačcu rješit će se pitanje ponude adekvatne radne snage u tri proizvodne grane koje imaju visoki potencijal za rast, i to: proizvodnja metala i automobila; prerada drveta i proizvodnja tekstila.
