Socijaldemokrati BiH, kako je istaknuto danas, su socijaldemokratskog opredjeljenja, a aktivno će učestvovati u promjeni stanja u društvu, prije svega Tuzlanskom kantonu. Centrala stranke je smještena u Tuzli, ali će djelovati u svim dijelovima BiH.
“Razlikovat ćemo se po tome da ne želimo bezuspješno kritikovati postojeću vlast koja ne donosi nikakve rezultate. Imali smo mogućnost da poslušamo rukovodstvo SDP-a u Sarajevu ili da se priklonimo željama 50.000 ljudi koji su nama dali glasove na oktobarskim izborima i donijeli nam pobjedu. Odluka je teška, ali istovremeno i lagana te smo se odlučili za glasače i to na način da poslušamo njihove želje tokom predizborne kampanje, a koje želimo ispuniti”, rekao je Bijedić.
On je istakao da nova stranka nije opcija koja će cijepati ljevicu, već će biti inicijatori ujedinjenja ljevice u jednu veliku snažnu političku grupaciju koja treba promijeniti stanje u čitavoj državi.
“Ubjeđeni smo da stanje može promijeniti samo ljevica i ovu zemlju izvesti na pravi put. Naš plan i rad u budućnosti će biti sigurno ulazak u NATO i orijentacija ka Evropskoj uniji, jer samo to garantuje stabilnost i sigurnost građana”, naveo je Bijedić.
Iako je u BiH registrovano više od 130 političkih subjekata, jedan od inicijatora za osnivanje Socijaldemokrata BiH Edin Delić je kazao da ova stranka predstavlja jednu novinu na političkoj sceni.
“Tuzlu vidimo kao kolijevku, epicentar socijaldemokratije i mislim da ona zaslužuje da bude slušana, pitana i na neki način predvodnik tranzicije koja bi vodila ka ostvarenju socijalno-odgovorne i demokratske BiH. Imamo jasno profiliran politički program, svoje boje i simbole i stanovišta smo da nijedna politička partija ne smije podrediti interese države, ekonomije, zapošljavanja i mladih bilo kakvom ideološkom obrascu. Uhvatit ćemo se ukoštac svakom društvenom izazovu koji se pojavi ispred nas”, naglasio je Delić.
Stranka Socijaldemokrati BiH trenutno ima jednog državnog zastupnika, pet zastupnika u Predstavničkom domu Parlamenta FBiH, jednog u Domu naroda Parlamenta FBiH, dva u Skupštini TK te skoro 30 općinskih vijećnika.
“U Skupštini TK već imamo dva samostalna zastupnika koji su naši članovi, a cilj nam je da u svim općinskim, odnosno gradskim organizacijama imamo svoje predstavnike. Mislim da ćemo u periodu koji je pred nama imati veoma aktivno djelovanje na terenu s ciljem da lokalne izbore dočekamo u punom kapacitetu”, kazao je Žarko Vujović, član Socijaldemokrata BiH.
Iz Socijaldemokrata BiH još uvijek nisu razgovarali sa Strankom demokratske akcije (SDA) o ulasku u vlast na federalnom nivou, jer, kako su pojasnili, još uvijek se ne zna kako će se izaći iz krize koja vlada na nivou države.
Podršku Socijaldemokratima BiH danas su pružili i članovi ostalih političkih stranaka. Među njima su se našli Adis Arapović iz Saveza za Bolju budućnost (SBB), Miro Lazović iz Pokreta socijalne pravde i demokratije (SPD) i Dženan Đonlagić iz Demokratske fronte (DF).
Na današnjoj osnivačkoj skupštini biraju se i članovi Nadzornog i Glavnog odbora stranke. Socijaldemokrati BiH od ponedjeljka otvaraju punktove za prijem novih članova.
