Haški tribunal: Ratko Mladić osuđen na doživotni zatvor

Od 11 tačaka optužnice kriv za 10
Mladić je proglašen krivim po 10 tačaka optužnice, a oslobođen po jednoj tački, koja se odnosi na genocid u šest bh. općina.
Vijeće je utvrdilo da Ratko Mladić nije kriv po tački 1. – genocid u šest bh. općina, ali da je kriv kao učesnik raznih zločinačkih poduhvata.
Kriv je za tačku 2. genocid, tačku 3. progon i zločin protiv čovječnosti, tačku 4. istrebljenje, zločin protiv čovječnosti, tačku 5. ubistvo, zločin protiv čovječnosti,tačku 6. ubistvo, kršenje zakon i običaja ratovanja, tačku 7. deportacija, zločin protiv čovječnosti, tačku 8. nehumano i prisilno premještanje, tačku 9.terorisanje i kršenje zakona i običaja ratovanja, tačku 10. protupravni napadi na civile, tačku 11. uzimanje talaca, kršenje zakona i običaja ratovanja.
Konstatovano je da dokazi ne idu u prilog zaključku da je krivično djelo genocida bilo dio cilja sveobuhvatnog udruženog zločinačkog poduhvata.
Suđenje generalu Vojske RS Ratku Mladiću počelo je 16. maja 2012. godine, a okončano 15. decembra 2016. godine.
